Overview
Revolut is the most-cited bank in UK fraud complaints. Whether you sent money from a Revolut account to a scam, or your account was used to receive funds from one, we can help you recover.
Warning Signs to Watch For
- • Revolut refused your fraud claim citing "negligence"
- • No or weak Confirmation of Payee warning shown before transfer
- • In-app fraud warnings missed obvious red flags on a known scam merchant
- • Account frozen unexpectedly after a fraudster paid in funds
- • Customer service responses limited to in-app chat with long delays
Why Revolut Cases Are So Common
Revolut's rapid growth, app-only customer service, and historic gaps in Confirmation of Payee coverage have made it the most-complained-about UK financial firm for fraud cases. The FOS upholds a high proportion of complaints against Revolut, often where the bank initially refused.
Outgoing Fraud (You Sent Funds)
Most claims involve impersonation, investment, or purchase scams where you sent funds from your Revolut account. Under the new PSR rules these are now subject to mandatory reimbursement up to £85,000 per claim, and we challenge any refusal through the FOS.
Incoming Fraud (Your Account Received Funds)
If your account was used unwittingly to receive scam funds and Revolut has frozen your balance, we can help unfreeze the legitimate funds while protecting your position.
Our Approach
Document
We collate the chat transcripts, transaction records, and Revolut's decision letters.
Assess
We identify Revolut's breaches of the CRM Code, PSR rules, and FCA guidance.
Pursue
We file the formal complaint and escalate to the FOS, which routinely upholds Revolut cases.
Recover
We secure reimbursement plus interest and distress compensation where applicable.
